the West has cleverly defined men's space in terms of heterosexuality. That is to say that West says "Straight" (which has the connotation of being normal, majority, right thing to do or be) = Heterosexual. We have to unlearn this conditioning of the term and redefine straight for what it is: regular, majority or men, who are -- as far as their nature is concerned -- definitely not heterosexual, even if they pretend to be so, all their lives.

The only valid social divisions of humans are based on gender, as: Man, woman or third gender. There cannot be any other division that goes against this basic division. Sexual identities are invalid.

Queer people are queer irrespective of what their sexual orientation is. They may be attracted to women, men or other members of the third gender or any combination of them. It doesn't make a difference. What matters is that they have male bodies and female souls (or vice versa).

It is also worth noting that almost 90% of Queer people are heterosexuals, not homosexuals.

Homosexuals form only 10% of all Queer people.

Since Hijras were more or less thrown out of the society and they led highly secretive lives; and in medieval times queers were castrated and made into eunuchs in order to fit into the then idea of a third gender, people in India today believes that Hijra, eunuch and third gender are one and the same things.
However, Hijras are not necessarily eunuchs, and despite the Hijra space being a space for homosexuals, many heterosexuals also join the Hijra cult.
Hijra is basically about being partly male and partly female. It mostly involves people who have male bodies but a female soul.

Since homosexuals are used for third gender, men who like men cannot be called 'homosexuals'.

Also, all men have a sexual feelings for other men... in such a case, it is futile to call some people 'homosexuals', because then everyone would be 'homosexual', which is ridiculous.

To be a man (straight man in the West) essentially involves having an interest in other men, and you can't theoretically or practically have a label for people who have such an interest.

The word homosexual has been misleading defined by the Western society as a "man who is attracted to another man".

However in practice it is used for third gender males who like men. A term which is used for people of the third gender cannot be used for men, without blurring basic biological and social differences.

The word homosexual was invented for members of the third gender who liked men, although the western science called these people "men", they were not really men -- but female souls in male bodies, a concept that the West doesn't quite understand, after centuries of persecution of such people by Christianity.
